Shimla “The queen of hills”
Located in Himachal Pradesh, Shimla is the summer capital of Himachal Pradesh. It is also nicknamed as “Queen of Hills“. The city includes a total of 19 hills station registered on the map. These include Mahlog, BaghatJubbal, Keonthal, Kumharsain, Kunihar, Kuthar, Balsan, Bashar, Bhajji, Bija, Mangal, Nalagarh, Sangri, Darkoti, Dhami, Baghal and Tharoch respectively. According to one story which is famous about Shimla says it took its name from “Shamla” which means a blue female hence properly indicating towards “Goddess Kali”. Shimla had been really famous in the era when British reined the country: they made it as their summer capital. This decision hails back to 1864. If it is to believe, there is a story that as Shimla was the only state where British people felt secured and could relate to the environment was Shimla.
